ITV Britain's Got Talent viewers worry as 'irresponsible' act leaves contestant bleeding on stage

Britain's Got Talent fans were left concerned after a contestant's "irresponsible" act left him bleeding on stage. American strongman JD Anderson appeared during the latest round of auditions, which aired on Saturday night, BirminghamLive reports.

Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were visibly shocked as JD snapped baseball bats in half before smashing his head through blocks of ice. For his final stunt, he charged through a long row of ice blocks, falling to the floor and leaving his head bleeding.

JD was sent through to the next round with four green lights, but not before a concerned David pointed out: "You're bleeding a bit from your head... are you okay?" The strongman responded: "I don't feel it, I'm just happy to be here."

But fans of the ITV talent show slammed the judges' decision to send JD through, claiming that it was "irresponsible". Lee @GeneHuntFan tweeted: "Sorry putting JD the strong man act through is feckin irresponsible."

Ryan @RyanGTweetsTV commented: "He's very lucky he didn't bleed out though cannot lie he's probably had bigger cuts on his head then the one we just seen he's probably used to it." Twitter user @Rcaeh29 added: "oh my goodness, he's bleeding , hitting that ice has gotta hurt....ouch." Meanwhile, Garry @EnfieldGarry pointed out: "He’s bleeding , bloody hell!"

And BGT fan @therealsmorgan declared: "I hate these sort of acts. He's like actually bleeding! I don't want to see drowning magicians and I don't want to see head butting walls of ice." Britain's Got Talent airs on Saturdays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub
