ITV Britain's Got Talent teenage comedian with cerebral palsy hailed an 'inspiration' by viewers as judges left in stitches

Viewers of Britain's Got Talent have hailed a young teenage comedian with cerebral palsy as an "inspiration", with all four judges left in stitches from her performance. 14-year-old Eva from the West Midlands has been commended for not letting her disability hold her back during her hilarious performance on the show tonight.

The student, who was supported by her whole family on the day, got the judges and audience laughing from the get-go. She opened her act with an apology to anyone who might not understand her, saying: "I've got a disability called cerebral palsy...and I'm from the Black Country."

Later on the in the act, she quipped: "People always feel sorry for me when I tell them about my disability. But then my mum's ginger and my dad's bald - so I'm the lucky one." You can read all our Britain's Got Talent stories here.

David Walliams found it hilarious, commnting, "You are brilliantly funny. Every single line was an absolute zinger", while Simon Cowell said she was "fearless".

It was a clean-sweep of yeses from all four judges for Eva, and throughout the act viewers at home were also charmed by the teenager - with many praising her for not letting her disability hold her back.

One wrote: "Absolutely loved Eva on Britain's Got Talent tonight. Just shows that a disability does not make you stop living your life to the full. I'm going to love seeing her performing more stand up routines in the next round. Good on you girl." Another said: "It takes a lot of confidence to stand up in front of an audience with a disability well done for that Eva."

"Yes Eva!! Flying the flag for the Black Country and to show that having Cerebral Palsy doesn’t stop you striving for the top. Absolutely hilarious," said another viewer. Meanwhile a mum wrote: "My daughter also has Cerebral Palsy and you are an inspiration to her!" To sign up for our What's On newsletter, click here.
