ITV Britain's Got Talent fans switch off after "all time low" opening acts

Britain's Got Talent fans were less than impressed with tonight's first performances, slamming the show as "awful" and "an all time low" after the first act.

The show started with a comedian who dragged up to be the queen and read some jokes off a piece of paper.

There was a great fanfare to the start of the act, which the audience seemed to love - but viewers at home were less than impressed.

After the act Simon said "you are really rude, you're unique and I don't know what else to say."

But TV viewers were unimpressed with the performance.

One said: "Find this queen impersonator cringeworthy , sorry it’s not funny at all."

Another said: "That old woman is rubbish at being the Queen. The impression is dreadful and the routine was poor."

A third said: "God that was #dull ! #TheQueen Damn straight I was #bored !"

And a fourth said: "Are we this bereft of talent in this country? I started watching this awful programme last night and that was terrible.

"Now I watch a bloke dress up as the queen and I’ve laughed more at a funeral. Dire. It’s springwatch for me. At least you see some talented animals there."

And it didn't get much better as the next up act was a man making fart noises with his hands - with one fan saying it was "an all time low".

But some fans enjoyed State of the Fart, with one saying: "State of the Fart is literally the most talented individual I have ever seen."

And another said: "State of the Fart has to win #bgt surely? I can't think of a more perfect act for the Royal Variety. Let it rip."

The judges praised the acts, but Alesha was the voice of reason, saying she just couldn't see him at the Royal Variety Show.
