ITV Beat the Chasers fans beg for show to be made permanent

Fans of ITV's quizzing spin-off show Beat the Chasers have begged for the series to be made a permanent addition to the schedule.

Beat the Chasers has been dubbed "better than the original" by viewers.

The new series is a spin on the hit quiz show  The Chase  which sees contestants face two, three, four or all five Chasers at once in a bid to win a cash prize.

The show has pulled in millions of viewers this week, hooking fans with its dramatic format and the thrill of seeing the Chasers working together as a team.

But Beat the Chasers is only airing this week on ITV.

Viewers have taken to Twitter to beg producers to make the show permanent.

Sarah commented: " #BeatTheChasers I'm absolutely creasing at Mark and Paul debating how many sides a triangle has [emojis] MORE Beat the Chaser PLEASE, bring it to daytime or forever at 9pm every night like The Chase does tea time".

Vicki said: " #BeatTheChasers every night..please!!! @ITV @BradleyWalsh class tv [emoji] keeping us going all week".

Scott added: "Beat the Chasers is an absolute 10/10, unreal telly".

Harry commented: "Obsessed with #BeatTheChasers better then the original!"

Dave said: "Must admit that I'm enjoying @beatthechasers at the moment. Some light relief in these unprecedented times".

Samantha said: "absolute TV gold hope there's a 2nd series".

Johnny said: "Beat the Chasers is this decades Who wants to be a millionaire/ don’t forget your toothbrush".

Laura added: "This is absolutely a god tier quiz show great format, brilliant questions and general quizzing and top notch banter".
