A contestant on ITV’s spin off show Beat the Chasers was left red-faced at the weekend when questioned about Bristol’s major train station.
The show - which sees hopefuls take on the fearsome Chasers for a cash prize - welcomed Sam, from Preston, on Saturday night (September 18.)
But things got a bit awkward when Sam incorrectly answered a question about Bristol Temple Meads, which prompted a mortifying comment from host Bradley Walsh.

Bradley asked: "Which of these follows Bristol to make the name of a major UK railway station?"
“Is it A) Waverley, B) Piccadilly or C) Temple Meads.”
Sam responded: "Railways really aren't my thing, as you've probably guessed."
Brad asked: "Why would I guess railways are not your thing??"
He continued: "I mean, forensically you like to travel on a train, but I've got to be honest with you, how I would know that railways aren't your thing?"
He then joked: "Space travel's not mine but I've been in a Tardis!"

"What do you think? Waverley?" Bradley said.
Sam said: "It is as good as any."
"It isn't," joked Brad, revealing the correct answer is C, Bristol Temple Meads.
ITV's Beat the Chasers is available to watch on ITV1 and the ITV Hub
