ITV has been accused of 'trolling' as it released news of it's latest hit show.
Bringing two viewer's favourites together - The Masked Singer and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! - ITV have provided the mash up that we didn't know we needed. The Masked Singer - I’m A Celebrity Special will be a new one-off special seeing two of the biggest shows on TV join forces later this year.
Fans of the shows on Twitter couldn't quite believe it and accused the broadcasters of 'trolling' them. Others asked if it was for real.

A social media user, @superTV247, shared a post which read: "NEW *I’m A Celebrity Masked Singer* is coming to ITV this autumn - a one off special that’ll see ex campmates dressed up as jungle critters, singing to win! #MaskedSingerUK #ImACeleb."
Other users shared their thoughts on the new concept. Haasaan said: "You're all mocking it but you're gonna watch it."
Char said: "Is this for real" followed by crying emojis. Matt said: "Wait, is this legit?!"
Pat said: "We are being trolled at this point." Meanwhile, another user said: "ITV are really Trolling us."
Former jungle campmate and regular host, Joel Dommett will be back to preside over the new spin-off show. He will be put through his paces, where instead of earning food for camp, he’ll be tasked with hunting down those all-important clues for the judging panel to help them guess who is under the costumes.
Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan who will be joined by special guest star panellists on the judging panel. The contestants will be competing in a number of quirky, camp-themed costumes including a kangaroo and Witchetty grub.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s head of entertainment commissioning said: "What a perfect way to celebrate the return of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! than with a unique mash up of two hugely successful series. Viewers will get to enjoy all things Jungle with a wonderfully bonkers Masked Singer twist. With flamboyant costumes that pay homage to the iconic series as it returns to Australia, families will be able to play alongside our panel in TV's favourite guessing game.”
