The Welsh are riding high on the back of a superb win over Turkey in Baku, with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts leaving Robert Page’s side all-but sure of their place in the last 16.
Italy have been perhaps the most impressive side at the tournament so far, with Roberto Mancini’s side thumping Turkey 3-0 on the opening night and then sweeping Switzerland aside by the same scoreline with an eye-catching, slick brand of football.
A point against Wales will seal top spot in the group for the Azzurri, who are unbeaten in 29 matches and have won each of their last 10 without conceding.
