Italy vs Spain: Nations League prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Italy will look to cap a remarkable 2021 by winning the Nations League on home soil this week.

After winning the Euros, Olympic 100m gold and Eurovision this year, Italy play Spain tonight in the first semi-final of the Nations League.

The match at the San Siro is a repeat of the Euro 2020 semi-final which Italy won on penalties at Wembley.

The Azzurri are unbeaten in a world-record 37 games, dating back to 2018 and followed their Euros success with draws against Bulgaria and Switzerland and a 5-0 drubbing of Lithuania.

Spain followed their painful Euros exit by losing a World Cup qualifier for the first time in 28 years against Sweden in Stockholm, though bounced back with consecutive victories over Georgia and Kosovo.

The winners of tonight’s match advance through to the final against either France or Belgium in Milan on Sunday evening, while the losers of those ties will contest a third-place play-off in Turin on Saturday afternoon.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Italy vs Spain is scheduled for a 7:45pm BST kick-off on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

The match will be held at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy.
