Italy vs England off: Latest news as coronavirus postpones Six Nations clash and disrupts sport – LIVE!

Welcome to the Evening Standard's LIVE coverage of the latest disruption caused to sporting events by the coronavirus outbreak.

England's men's and women's Six Nations matches against Italy have been postponed, according to PA news agency.

An Italian government decree released on Wednesday night said all sporting events in the country would not be open to the public until April 3 in an attempt to halt the spread of Covid-19.

Official confirmation of England's trip to Stadio Olimpico being postponed is expected later today.
