The lead singer of Eurovision winners Måneskin has denied taking drugs during Saturday's final after accusations from viewers.
The bookies got it spot on as the Italian rock group triumphed in Rotterdam with their track Zitti e buoni, edging out other well tipped entries from France and Switzerland.
But Måneskin's Eurovision victory was shrouded in some controversy after a video of frontman Damiano David and bandmates Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio, saw Damiano lowering his head behind a bucket of drinks, sparking a frenzy of drug taking claims from the millions of viewers watching across Europe.
One rushed to Twitter to post: "One of the Italy singers casually doing drugs on live tv," and another fumed: "Immediate disqualification for Italy in Eurovision 21 for taking drugs on live TV"
But speaking at a press conference after Italy's victory, Damiano strong denied any accusations of drug taking.
“I don't use drugs. Tomas broke a glass with his leg.
”I don't use cocaine… please don't say that."

In the aftermath of the contest, Måneskin also attempt to clear up the controversy on Instagram, posting: "We are really shocked about what some people are saying about Damiano doing drugs.
"We really are AGAINST drugs and we never used cocaine. We are ready to get [tested], cause we have nothing to hide.
"We are here to play our music and we are so happy about our Eurovision win and we wanna thank everyone for supporting us. Rock'n Roll never dies. We love you."
While it was night of celebrations for Italy, it was the opposite for the United Kingdom as the country continued its poor run of form in Eurovision.
James Newman became the first UK act since Jemini in 2003 to score zero points, getting nothing from either the jury or public vote.
