Italian DJ who claims Conor McGregor punched him says he is 'f***ing dangerous'

An Italian DJ who claims that Conor McGregor punched him at a party says the UFC star is "f***ing dangerous" and "can do better".

Francesco Facchinetti alleges that the Dubliner struck him at a party in Rome and has officially filed a complaint with Italian police.

He claimed The Notorious – who has been named in Forbes’s annual list as the highest-paid athlete in the world with €180m in earnings – punched him in the mouth and broke his nose in front of 10 witnesses, his friends and bodyguards.

He alleged the Dubliner attacked him without motivation after they talked for more than two hours.

The DJ told ESPN: "It's something about ethics, and Conor is f***ing dangerous. This is a problem.

"He can do better than this. He can be better than this. What happens, he punches a guy tomorrow and that guy dies? What happens? What happens to MMA?"

Facchinetti previously said that he would not withdraw the complaint – even if he was offered €10m.

Mr Facchinetti claimed: “I could have shut up and not said anything to anyone, but since I’m here to tell it, I must say that that person is really violent and dangerous. If McGregor’s lawyer were to call me tomorrow and offer me €10m to withdraw the complaint and to withdraw everything, I would say no.”

McGregor has repeatedly found himself on the wrong side of the law having been fined for punching a man in a Dublin pub in 2019.

A year earlier he pleaded guilty to assault in New York after he attacked a bus transporting UFC fighters including Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor avoided jail after agreeing a plea deal which saw him ordered to complete community service and attend anger management classes.

He was also involved in an altercation with rapper Machine Gun Kelly during an awards ceremony in New York last month.
