Berlin Film Festival adds new films

Luca Guadagnino's adaptation of William S. Burroughs' work in 'Queer' stars Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey in a captivating tale of obsession and infatuation. 'Iddu' brings together Toni Servillo and Elio Germano in a drama centered around Matteo Messina Denaro, a notorious Cosa Nostra boss. Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza's film promises to be a gripping exploration of organized crime.

Gabriele Mainetti's upcoming kung fu movie, set in Rome's vibrant Piazza Vittorio quarter, is another exciting addition to the lineup. Featuring a diverse cast led by Chinese martial artist Liu Yaxi and esteemed Italian actors, this film is sure to offer a fresh take on the genre. Margherita Vicario's 'Gloria!' is a musical comedy set in an 18th century Venetian boarding school, offering a unique blend of rebellion and creativity.

Carlo Sironi returns to the festival circuit with his latest film 'My Summer With Irene,' which follows the journey of two teenagers experiencing a transformative summer together. Featuring talented actors Noée Abita and Maria Camilla Barandenburg, this poignant drama is set to captivate audiences with its heartfelt story.
