Italian Chianti cuisine in Bangkok

Guest chef Lorenzo Baldacci from the renowned Osteria di Fonterutoli in Italy's Chianti, region.

Rossini's Italian restaurant at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit presents a special culinary promotion that celebrates the authenticity of Tuscan cuisine, until Sunday.

For the event, guest chef Lorenzo Baldacci from the renowned Osteria di Fonterutoli in the heart of Mazzei estate, one of Italy's most noble producers of Classico Chianti, showcases his native fare through a series of set menus as well as à la carte dishes available for lunch and dinner.

Dishes include wild boar with topinambur purée; Mazzei guinea fowl with chickpeas and salt baked onion; venison fillet with apple cream, onion and spinach; tuna and macerated rabbit in olive oil; orange-marinated duck breast salad with cannellini beans and rosemary; pumpkin soup with mushrooms and Pecorino cheese; and Carnaroli risotto with green asparagus, lardo and Gorgonzola cheese.

An exclusive six-course wine dinner that centres on vino from Mazzei estates, the second oldest winery in Italy, is held today and priced at 4,900 baht per person.

Daily set lunch and dinner costs from 2,400-3,200 baht per person.
