'It will only make him better' Leeds United fans react to Kalvin Phillips England call-up report

There's been plenty of excited chatter from Leeds United fans on social media over new reports suggesting that Kalvin Phillips is set to be called up for England.

The 24-year-old midfielder enforcer could be set to make his international debut in next month's friendlies against Italy and Denmark as Gareth Southgate makes his final preparations for Euro 2020 in the summer.

Marcelo Bielsa was asked about the rumours in his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's match against Middlesbrough.

The former Argentina and Chile coach didn't give anything away but said that the whole club should feel proud if Phillips, a product of United's academy, gets his first international call up.

Here’s how Leeds United fans reacted to the report over on Twitter:

Phillips is a doubt for the trip to the Riverside after he suffered a knock against Reading, but Bielsa said he was hopeful the midfielder would be fit to play.
