Steve Bruce has admitted that Allan Saint-Maximin’s performance against Aston Villa almost left him speechless.
Newcastle's French winger was in irresistible form and had Villa on the back-foot as he continues to show what a great buy he was from Nice last summer.
Saint-Maximin will now be relishing a crack at Manchester City in Sunday night’s mammoth FA Cup quarter-final clash at St James’ Park.
When asked about Saint-Maximin’s performance, United boss Bruce said: “I know that there's nobody in the stadium, but I remember making the comment when I first saw him that he'll get people off their seats.
“The stuff that he did in front of me just after half-time, I don't know how he does it, to be perfectly honest, but it was wonderful to watch.
“He's a really, really talented natural footballer who, things come easy to him.
“He looks fit, he looks lean. He certainly did very well again.“
