A Scots woman has got a tattoo in honour of iconic Scottish meme 'it was f*****g one of yas. Disgusting!"
Laura Macaskill, 29, from Aberdeen booked in for the tattoo over a year ago but covid restrictions meant she only travelled to Glasgow to be inked on Sunday by tattoo artist Roberto Poliri.
Robert of Skull and Rose tattoo studio in Bishopbriggs, had originally designed the tattoo, showing a dagger surrounded by roses with a banner and the iconic words, for a portfolio in the Scottish Tattoo Convention.
But when Laura saw it she just had to have it.
The phrase comes from a viral video, which went on to inspire hundreds of memes across the internet.
The video features two young Scottish girls who are preparing to sing a cover of ‘Oath’ (not Cher Lloyd) by Cher Lloyd.
But before they get a chance to get going, an angry woman bursts into the room to bring the performance to a dramatic halt.
She says: “Does somebody not know how to flush the toilet after they’ve had a s**t? Well it was f*****g one of yas! Disgusting!”

Laura said the meme is something that always made her laugh so she decided to go for it.
She said: "It was always something that cracked me up every time I heard it and me and my friends always make jokes about it and stuff.
"The tattoo is actually a really nice sketch without the writing so I just thought, 'you don't live forever! So why not?'
"Roberto thought I was absolutely off my head but I'm so pleased with it. Everybody that has seen it is made up, they love it!"

Artist Robert added: "Laura travelled down on Sunday there from Aberdeen and I honestly I couldn't believe someone was actually getting it tattooed on her.
"We had such a great laugh doing it we listened to Cher Lloyd in the background! Laura waited a year to get the tattoo because of the pandemic, I was just delighted I got to finally do it! Even thought the video is from 2007, it's still so relevant today."
Laura's new ink got a great reception when she shared the pictures on social media.

One person said: "this is probably THE best tattoo that ever exists or will exist."
Another said: "NO F*****G WAY. Bless you."
Another person wrote: "Absolutely howling."
One person simply wrote: "honestly love this."

Last year, the famous meme even got a mention from Cher Lloyd who spoke about it on Tik Tok.
She wrote: "Think you can hurt my feelings? I'm forever linked with a Scottish girls unflushed shet."
She then pulls on a face mask which has a cartoon of the two girls and their mum with the words 'DISGUSTANG' above.

And in the caption, Cher goes on to say she's proud to be part of a 'iconic moment in history' she wrote: "Tbh actually quite proud to be part of this iconic moment in history."
