One of the most consistent teams in ALGS history is making some serious tracks in the 2026 ALGS Split 1 Playoffs. Team Vision–consisting of Carter, Zach, and LOTR31–have been together through thick and thin, signed and orgless, and now they’re together with great prospects in the Match Point Finals.
Dot Esports spoke with Carter for an exclusive interview about consistency, staying accountable to your team, and the return of Seer to the Legend meta.
Signing with Team Vision
Going into a major tournament can be a potentially nerve wracking experience, but having reliable teammates and an org to back you can make a huge difference in having good mentals. For the players on Team Vision, that org sign-up came shortly before this Split began.

“Well, I feel like when people get signed, they automatically get that boost, and I feel like they just crave more because you have something to back you up and support you. I feel like it feeds everyone more.”
Knowing you’ll have support goes beyond an org backing, as having reliable teammates can be just as important. For Team Vision, a team that’s stayed together longer than most other squads in the comp scene, that means keeping each other on track.
“You just gotta keep each other accountable, and make sure you guys are lifting each other up, and just make sure everyone’s doing the job.”
Team Vision welcomes the return of Seer
Anyone around for the first days of Season 10 can vividly recall the introduction of Seer at full strength–the flashbangs, cancels, and scans that came every few seconds. Now, Seer is back in the comp meta, and while his abilities aren’t quite what they used to be, he’s still a force to be reckoned with. For Team Vision, that’s great news.
“It was one of the best things that happened, because I think our IGL Zach is a phenomenal Seer. He just knows how to change the game when he plays the character.”
Still, Carter isn’t nostalgic for those early days of Seer’s debut. “Oh god, I fear that day.”
As for the Legends that Team Vision’s Carter is always happy to see banned, Crypto was his top choice.
“Everyone’s happy to see Crypto banned. I feel like if people had the option, they would ban him before the game would even start. The EMP is so strong. He gets way too much information and it’s just hard to punish.”
Bringing things back in Group Stage
One of the highlights of the final day of Group Stage was Team Vision’s comeback in Match 5. Both LOTR and Zach were downed and Carter, playing as Alter, was able to escape deep into the zone on Storm Point while being chased down by multiple squads. Despite that unfortunate turn of events, Carter was able to rally, respawn his teammates, and drop a mammoth win with 19 kills.
“It was electric. Honestly, I so confidently feel like I’m one of the best get out of jail free card players. So it felt insane.”

That victory brought Team Vision well into the top of the overall rankings, something that Carter felt was overdue through the Group Stage matches.
“From yesterday, we were very much due for a big day, and I confidently feel like we’re the best fighting team.”
Creating, and maintaining, momentum
With all this momentum building, there are still plenty of strong teams for Team Vision to overcome before they can claim victory. The number one team in Vision’s sights is the one dominating the leaderboard with 199 points: Elite Esports.
“They just look way too good. They are carrying way too much momentum.”
But despite keeping Elite Esports in mind, Carter feels Team Vision’s time has come for a win.
“The ceiling is so high and I see way too much for us to do that. Yeah, definitely feel like this is the year.”
While the boys at Team Vision will be fighting hard for victory, so will 19 other squads when the matches kick off on Saturday afternoon. To follow along, check out our live results for Split 1 here!
