'It was a load of s***' – Tyson Fury trashes Anthony Joshua's performance against Andy Ruiz

Tyson Fury has torn apart Anthony Joshua’s performance to recapture his world heavyweight titles against Andy Ruiz by labelling it as ”double s***”.

Joshua boxed to a game plan in the rematch with the Mexican-American, keeping exchanges to a minimum and using his physical advantages to stay out of range.

It enabled Joshua to win back the IBF, WBO and WBA titles and become a two-time world champion.

But Fury, who is bidding to do likewise when he faces Deontay Wilder for a second time next Saturday, insists the display failed to impress him.

“Everyone has to do whatever they have to do to win a fight,” Fury told The Sun.

“But if it was s*** when I was doing it, it was double s*** when he did it because it was a far worse job.

“He just ran away all night, it was not a good fight, it was a load of s*** really.

“He ran away terrified all night and when he did stand still for two seconds, he was rocked to his boots.”

Fury added that he believes the fear factor around the division has vanished when it comes to Joshua and that his “bubble has burst”.

Should Fury win the WBC belt, he would be obligated to face Wilder for a third time, pushing back the potential for an undisputed fight with Joshua which could represent the biggest all-British fight of all time.
