It took one snap at Dolphins training camp to get fantasy football owners buzzing

Okay, look: It’s waaaaaay too early to be making any fantasy football conclusions after like ONE DAY of NFL training camps.

But maybe it’s because I get so excited for fantasy every year that the stream of news coming out of Miami Dolphins camp has me and every other owner buzzing.

Coming into this season, there were some questions about the team’s backfield: Would Kenyan Drake become the clear-cut No. 1 running back after a timeshare last season with Frank Gore? Or would 6-foot-2, 231-pound Kalen Ballage — who the Fins drafted in the fourth round last year out of Arizona State — take the reins?

Here’s what happened on THE FIRST SNAP:

That can’t mean anything, right? It’s just one snap on the first day of practice at camp …

Um, okay. But this is just the first day!

Oh wow. There’s still this:

Again, this probably means absolutely nothing. But the sound you heard was countless fantasy owners filing away Ballage’s name for draft day.
