It Takes Two's Rylan Clark puts pressure on Strictly pro dancer Nikita to slam judges after exit

It Takes Two presenter Rylan Clark encouraged pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin to blast the Strictly Come Dancing judges' scoring after he and partner Tilly Ramsay got the boot from the ballroom.

Nikita and Tilly appeared on the popular BBC2 spin-off show as the dust settled on their exit from Strictly at the weekend.

Having been top of their leaderboard last week after getting a perfect 40 for their Couple’s Choice routine, the couple found themselves in the dance-off for the third time after their samba saw them go from top to rock bottom of the standings.

After dancing off against fellow bottom two couple Rhys and Nancy, Tilly and Nikita were giving their marching orders by the judges, who opted to keep their rivals in the show.

With some Strictly fans still accusing the panel of undermarking them, Tilly and Nikita joined host Rylan to talk about their exit on Monday.

And picking up on them only getting 30 for their samba, the presenter remarked: “Some of the judges’ comments; there were a few things about feet, a few things about arms.

“Do you think, Nikita, that justified the lower scoring?”

Just as Nikita was starting to answer him, Rylan shouted: “Come on! You’re out now! You can say what you wana say, come on.”

While urged by Rylan to lay into the judges, Nikita refused to do so.

Staying dignified and diplomatic, he responded: “I agree with this absolutely because samba is the most difficult dance.

“Samba is a difficult dance. You have different body rhythms to do your steps with, you have different actions.

“You have feet actions, you have arms - you have some many things you have to do.”

He continued: “At the same you have to be sassy, you have to do all the beautiful shimmy things that Tilly did.

“So unfortunately, yeah I agree.”
