It sure looks like Antonio Brown had a two-word response to Ben Roethlisberger’s apology

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has spent much of his time in Pittsburgh throwing teammates under the bus. This led to a bitter falling out with now-Raiders receiver Antonio Brown.

On Monday, Roethlisberger apparently owned up to crossing a line with his critical remarks about Brown. He apologized in a pre-recorded TV interview with KDKA’s Bob Pompeani for going “too far” in his public criticism of Brown. He added that he was sorry for ruining their friendship.

The problem with apologies through the media is that players rarely appreciate it when these conversations could take place in private. Shortly after the remarks made rounds on Twitter, Brown took to Twitter with a curious, two-word tweet.

It sure looked like a subtweet of his former quarterback.

“Two face.”

Sure, we don’t know what exactly Brown was tweeting about, but given the context, many made the connection to Roethlisberger.

If that’s the case, it doesn’t appear the Brown accepted Roethlisberger’s apology.

The Steelers and Raiders don’t meet in 2019 either, so that on-field reunion will likely be put on hold for at least a year.
