It's up to the players to take responsibility at Newcastle United says Martin Dubravka

Martin Dubravka says the emphasis still remains on Newcastle United players to drag the club out of crisis mode.

The Toon goalkeeper returned between the posts against West Ham and kept a clean sheet in Shanghai.

The stopper has been linked with Aston Villa this summer but is focused on life at Newcastle.

He also stated he was happy working with Steve Bruce .

After the win over the Hammers he said: “He has been able to explain what is his style of play, obviously three days is not enough to get

to know each other just yet.

“We have to take on responsibility in the dressing room, take chances like we did today and we were very organised today, hopefully we can keep it that way.”

Yoshinori Muto scored the only goal against West Ham as the Magpies ran out 1-0 winners.

The squad now head back to Tyneside and will take up training back at the club's Benton training base on Tuesday.

Bruce is taking his players for a team meal tonight on Shanghai
