'It's surreal to be honest' Wirral DJ on what it's like playing Creamfields

A Mersey DJ has revealed to the ECHO what it's like playing one of the most renowned electronic music festivals in the world.

Corey James, from Wirral, said he would dream of playing the festival when he was younger and never thought he'd make it to the lineup.

However, after years making music behind closed doors he explained that it's finally all coming together.

Speaking to the ECHO, the DJ said: "Playing Creamfields is always the best experience really because for me its the home festival.

"Growing up [me] and all my mates coming here and the one year you see yourself on the lineup it's quite surreal to be honest."

Corey has been named as one of the Top 100 Producers by 1001 Tracklists and over the years he has joined Steve Angello on his BBC Radio 1 residency, alongside performing at Creamfields since 2016.
