As the east coast of America prepares to deal with another hefty winter storm, and parts of Britain struggle under significant winter weather, people in the south of England are coming to terms with the mighty drifts of the first snow of the season. Commuters in London woke to a winter wonderland, with snow reaching up to a few centimetres in places.
