'It's not easy' - Kylian Mbappe makes fresh PSG future claim amid Liverpool transfer links

Kylian Mbappe has revealed he will be playing for a "big club" next season amid continued speculation linking him with Liverpool.

The 22-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and is yet to agree terms on a fresh deal.

Mbappe will be available on a free transfer next summer and can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of France in January.

The World Cup winner has been offered two different proposals by PSG to extend his stay at the Parc des Princes, but is yet to put pen to paper.

And a recent report from Spain claimed that Liverpool are preparing a massive contract offer worth €30million per year to beat Real Madrid to the signing of the forward.

Defensa Central claimed that the Reds are planning to blow Real out of the picture in the race to sign Mbappe this summer.

Real tried to sign Mbappe last summer but failed with a second bid worth €200m (£171.7m) on transfer deadline day, while a third offer was reportedly ignored by PSG.

But when asked about his future on Sunday, the forward revealed that whatever happens he will be playing for a big side next season.

“I don’t know what I will do”, he told an interview with Amazon Prime. “It is not an easy to make. But, either way, I’ll be playing for a big club in 2023.

“At first I was disappointed [not to leave]. But, I am not playing in the third division, I am at a club that wants to win the Champions League.

“I am Parisian, I have my family here and I feel good. I have always said that, I just wanted to discover something else.”

Speaking about the Reds back in May 2020, Mbappe revealed how he believes Jurgen Klopp has turned his side into "ruthless machine".

He said: "This season Liverpool have been a machine in the Premier League. They have made winning look easy - but the truth is that is never easy.

"To be as ruthless as they have been would come from having a very good manager and lots of hard work in training. Performances like they have been having don't just happen."
