'It’s not big, it’s not clever' Liverpool restaurant pleads with customers to stop stealing from its toilets

A Liverpool restaurant and bar has asked customers to stop stealing its art from the gents toilets.

Salt House Bacaro has been serving Italian small plates on Castle Street for six years.

It has become a favourite in the city with Jurgen Klopp even dining there with Red's players Sadio Mane, Georgino Wijnaldum and Joel Matip.

Taking to social media to make the announcement and post a picture of their famous toy car display, Bacaro's team said: "Stop nicking our cars from the gents lads!

"It’s not big, it’s not clever and you don’t want to get banned for nicking a toy car do you? F**** sake!"

Another popular bar in the city Berry & Rye said that they used to have the same problem in their sister bar Aloha.

They commented: "Urgh. I love that piece too. We used to get people robbing décor in Aloha all the time. It was beyond annoying."

@Michaelconnolly said: "Micro brains taking the micro machines."

While another joked: "It’s me who took them all. They are held in ransom until you get them salty almonds and pistachio ice cream back on the menu."
