'It's Jonson Clarke-Harris' world and we're all living in it' - Watch Bristol Rovers striker's stunning overhead kick

Few strikers, especially at League One level, combine the two cliches of being a great goalscorer and a scorer of great goals but Jonson Clarke-Harris seems to have nailed it.

The Bristol Rovers striker added another picturebook strike to his collection with a sensational overhead kick in the 63rd-minute to put the Gas 3-2 up against Accrington Stanley.

As Accrington were unable to clear a free-kick, ballooning a header into the sky, Clarke-Harris took one look upwards to check his bearings and then arch his back and bring that hammer of a left foot over his shoulder to blast the ball into the far corner.

It was the 24-year-old's second goal of the match and fifth of 2019/20 as, after missing an entire pre-season with a pelvis injury, he has clicked back into gear to mirror his remarkable form of last season.

The Mem rose in appreciation towards their No9, who later collected the man of the match award, but there was a bittersweet feeling at the end as Rovers were unable to match Clarke-Harris' virtuoso goal with the three points as the game finished 3-3.

But after outstanding goals at Gillingham, Plymouth and at the Mem against Barnsley, Clarke-Harris has managed to better himself once again and further underline his importance to the Gas.
