(Mother) Taylor Swift stopped by The Graham Norton Show over the weekend to promote her latest album The Life Of A Showgirl. And, in true Taylor fashion, she gifted us a little extra tea: wedding plans.
When Graham asked if she’d set a date yet, the ‘Shake It Off ‘singer replied, “Oh, you’ll know,” before casually inviting him to the wedding.
And when Graham joked that if he was invited it must be a big wedding, Taylor confirmed: “It’s huge.”
She went on to explain that she’s ditching the typical guest list stress entirely.
“I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble,” she said.
“I’m not going to do that.”
But wait — there’s more.
Not only did Taylor spill wedding deets, she also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her engagement to fiancé Travis Kelce.
Flashing her ring — which she called a “hardware upgrade” — Taylor said “[Travis] really crushed it.”
She revealed that on the day of the proposal, the pair had been recording a podcast interview for hours while, unbeknownst to her, “behind his house he was having the whole back garden turned into this.”
Kelce even built a wall of hedges to hide Swift’s tour photographer, who captured the exact moment he dropped to one knee.
“He went all out,” Taylor said. “Ten out of ten.”
Sadly, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit for the big day. When pressed for details, Taylor said this year is all about the new album, with the wedding to come after.
“I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after, in terms of planning,” she explained.
Bad news Swifties, looks like you’ll have to wait for the next update, but at least you’ve got this whole album to keep you going!
