It's just a matter of time before Arsenal announce their third signing of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have been relatively busy since the 2020/21 campaign ended, bolstering their first-team squad with deals for Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga, whilst also adding to the youth ranks by bringing in Mika Biereth from London rivals Fulham.
Whilst the latter is unlikely to feature under Mikel Arteta next season, the former pair will be expected to provide extra depth at left-back and in central midfield respectively.
With that said, another signing appears to be imminent and it's that of Ben White's £50million transfer.
Arsenal are a little light in the centre-back area right now following the departure of David Luiz at the end of last month, coupled with William Saliba joining Marseille on a season-long loan.
As a result, White was identified as the perfect replacement for the Brazilian even before the summer transfer window officially opened and had an initial £40m bid for the 23-year-old rejected by Brighton, who have stood firm on their reported £50m price-tag.
However, after several weeks of discussions between the two clubs, as reported by football.london earlier in the month, the Seagulls had finally accepted an offer from Arsenal for the England international.
Furthermore, as personal terms between Arsenal and the defender have already been agreed, all that is left for this transfer to be finalised is the 23-year-old successfully completing his medical.
And it would appear that has been completed.
As seen in the image above that has been uploaded to Twitter by @HAZZER14, an announcement could be imminent as White appears to have been 'spotted' at London Colney after completing his medical.
