'It's happened again!' - Tottenham fans make Arsenal jibe after what Harry Kane did for England

Harry Kane scored a brilliant goal in England's 1-1 draw with Poland on Wednesday evening and Tottenham supporters loved what they witnessed.

The 28-year-old Spurs striker found the net from long range to hand the Three Lions the lead in Warsaw, only to be denied by a late Damian Szymanski equaliser.

However, Kane's goal on 72 minutes was a thing of beauty and it was made even better for Tottenham supporters considering it was against former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

The England captain scored plenty of goals against Szczesny during the Poland international's time at the Gunners, something that delighted Spurs fans.

Billy Cairns also tweeted: "@13Szczesny13 it's happened again. You know the rest @HKane #POLEng #COYS."

Szczesny, despite leaving Arsenal years ago, has still trolled Tottenham in the past, making Kane's goal even sweeter for Spurs fans.

After Juventus beat Tottenham in the Champions League back in 2018, the former Gunners shot-stopper posted on Instagram: "Great win and celebrations versus one of the best teams in north London. FORZA JUVE! North London is red."

Kane netted his 41st goal for his country on Wednesday, meaning he is now only 12 shy of Wayne Rooney's all-time record for the Three Lions.

Rooney admitted that he would be delighted for the England captain should he go on to break his scoring record.

The Derby County boss told talkSPORT: “I’m fully expecting Harry Kane to get that record, he’s a fantastic player and goalscorer.

“Obviously he’s got time on his side, and I’d be the first to congratulate him.

“Records are great of course but they’re there to be broken. When Harry does break that record he deserves all the praise and credit that he gets because it’s a great honour to hold that record.”
