It’s graff! It’s hip! It’s street!

Street energy and vibrant communities come together in a big splash. From Nov 12, “Street: Urban Culture Highlight” brings together graffiti artists, hip-hop stars and DJ gigs at various venues mainly around Charoen Krung and nearby.

Hosted by the French Embassy and Goethe Institut, graffiti artists will come from France, Germany and Thailand, and private walls (permission already
secured) will be splashed in all colours by
several graff artists with distinctive brushstroke styles. The idea is to enliven the urbanscape of inner Bangkok, and to
celebrate street culture — visual, musical, culinary — as something at once
spontaneous, grassroots and international.
