'It's coming too slow...': Yashasvi Jaiswal stirs up Mitchell Starc

NEW DELHI: Fast bowlers take pride in their pace. They take pride in intimidating batters and love the look of fear in their eyes.

But for that, pacers have to be real quick and it's no secret that Mitchell Starc, possessing all the skills in the world, has dropped a few clicks in his pace over the years.

India openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul gave their team a great start in the second innings of the ongoing first Test in Perth for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In fact, Jaiswal and Rahul became the first Indian opening pair to score 100 runs in Australia in Tests in the last 20 years.

Jaiswal was the aggressor of the two and reached his ninth Test fifty to make up for the duck he had got in the first innings.

In one particular over, Jaiswal took the attack to Starc and smashed him for a one-bounce four to deep square leg.

Clearly not amused, Starc followed it up with two good length deliveries and finished his follow-through just in front of Jaiswal with a smile on his face.

Not to be bogged down or intimidated, Jaiswal remarked, "What, it's coming too slow", and Starc returned to his mark with a wry smile on his face.
