It's been 8 years since Michelle Parker went missing

ORLANDO _ Michelle Parker made an appearance "The People's Court" with an ex-fiance in November 2011.

Four days later, the then 33-year-old went missing and remains so to this day.

Parker, a Winter Park High School, graduate, left behind 3-year-old twins, an 11-year-old son and a community that craved answers. Her disappearance produced 20,000 missing person fliers days after her disappearance.

Search volunteers would gather at the now closed Jesse Black Saloon on Oak Ridge Road, which is where Parker worked as a bartender.

Parker was seen on a prerecorded episode of "The People's Court" sharing the violent nature of her relationship with ex-fiance, Dale Smith, the father of her twins. The episode focused on the dispute of a missing engagement ring.

She was last heard from later that day after the episode premiered when a text on her iPhone indicated she was in the Waterford Lakes area. Evidence surfaced later that Parker went to Smith's home to drop off their twins in the area of Lee Vista and Semoran Boulevard, near Orlando International Airport

Her Hummer sport-utility vehicle was found the next day on the west side of Orlando.

After eight years, Smith was the only suspect in the disappearance, but was not charged. He later moved to Tennessee with the twins.

Smith does have a criminal record having pleaded to felony battery in 1997 and has been arrested several other times, records show.

Parker would be 41 years old this year.
