'It's beautiful' - Manchester United fans go wild after Cristiano Ronaldo winner in 'Fergie Time'

Manchester United fans have expressed their delight after Cristiano Ronaldo's dramatic winning goal against Villarreal in the Champions League.

Alex Telles' superb equaliser cancelled out Paco Alcacer's opening goal for the hosts to leave the game finely poised at 1-1 heading into stoppage time.

But after a quiet evening by his standards, Ronaldo did what he does best and popped up with a dramatic winning goal at the death to seal vital a 2-1 win.

It ensured United avenged their Europa League final to defeat to Villarreal last season and it has reignited their Champions League campaign after suffering an opening day defeat to Young Boys.

Unsurprisingly, United fans were left ecstatic after Ronaldo, who became the competition's all-time record appearance holder this evening, bagged his fifth goal of his second spell at Old Trafford.

Joe Tansey tweeted: "Ronaldo in Fergie Time in the Champions League. It's beautiful."

Sownak Bose added: "The best there was. The best there is. The best there ever will be. Viva Ronaldo."

Meanwhile another fan said: "Cristiano Ronaldo, who else? Cometh the hour."
