'It's all getting real' - Mum-to-be Jorgie Porter wished good luck as she prepares to give birth

Excited mum-to-be Jorgie Porter has revealed the latest milestone in her pregnancy journey. The Hollyoaks actress from Eccles has packed her hospital bag as she prepares to give birth, and the good luck messages have been pouring in.

The star shared snaps of herself with her essentials as she told fans on Instagram: "The bag is packed!" She added: "If you saw my stories you will know I ended up getting a new hospital bag as I needed more space."

Telling followers how her bag has "so much space and sections for everything" she said: "I mean seriously, how much stuff does one teeny tiny person need."

The 34-year-old soap star and former I'm A Celebrity contestant is excited to be expecting a baby boy with fiance Ollie Piotrowski, and she recently sent fans into a frenzy with a teasing post. In a picture shared on her Instagram Jorgie looked the model mum as she posed with a pram in a stylish black puffer coat.

One follower said their 'heart stopped' thinking Jorgie had given birth. However, she captioned the photo to say she was "just practising…" and added a winking emoji. "A few of you have messaged asking which pram did we go for," she explained.

In June, Jorgie moved her castmates to tears with the news that she was pregnant. The star, who has played Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks since 2008, shared an adorable Instagram video showing the couple's hands and their pet Doberman's paws pulling away to reveal a baby scan.

"Hopeful beginnings …" Jorgie captioned the super-sweet video. Last year the couple tragically lost quadruplets. Jorgie and Ollie were heartbroken to find out at the 14-week scan there was no sign of life in any of the embryo sacs.

Last month during an appearance on Loose Women they explained that they’re taking each day as it comes after their miscarriage heartbreak. Speaking to hosts Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Janet Street Porter and Dame Kelly Holmes, Coleen asked how the pregnancy had been so far, and Jorgie explained: “In the beginning it was quite hard. It was a bit stressful, a bit worrying.

"But we kind of had to get over that bit and go 'do you know what? We need to enjoy this and start thinking about everything day by day. We’ve got to enjoy the journey.'”

Ollie added: “We both openly said it, it was super scary. It’s hard in general at the best of times but it was extra hard taking each day as it comes and just going with the flow.”
