Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Darren Bent has questioned why the club are so keen to offload Danny Rose.
Rose has been continually linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, despite ending last season as the club's first choice left-back ahead of Ben Davies.
And Bent, who made 60 appearances in a three-year spell in north London, believes Spurs should be doing all they can to keep hold of the 29-year-old.
“Tottenham should be 100 per cent keeping Danny Rose,” the former England international told Football Insider.

“He is the best left-back in this country when he is fully fit.
“There appears to be a breakdown in relations between him and the club. I don’t understand why they are not trying to keep him.
“It’s a strange one. There’s still question marks over Rose, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld, but Tottenham should be keeping all of them.”
