'It's a joke!' - These Arsenal fans are raging at VAR after Sokratis goal ruled out vs Palace

Arsenal and Crystal Palace shared the spoils at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon (Sunday) in a dramatic contest.

It finished all square at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners were pegged back by Palace, having led 2-0 inside the first ten minutes courtesy of goals from Sokratis and David Luiz.

But Arsenal had two decisions go against them as the video assistant referee (VAR) system intervened on two separate occasions.

Firstly, Palace were awarded a penalty in the first half as VAR overturned the on-field decision by Martin Atkinson, after Wilfried Zaha had gone down in the box under a challenge from Calum Chambers.

Atkinson initially booked Zaha for what he perceived as a dive, but VAR overturned the decision, with Luka Milivojevic stepping up to convert the penalty.

Jordan Ayew then equalised for the Eagles in the second half, but Arsenal thought they had won it when Sokratis had the ball in the net for a second time in the closing stages of the game.

However, that was ruled out after a VAR review, with the Gunners having to settle for a point as a result.

But many Arsenal fans were left fuming at the decisions that went against them, with VAR once again a talking point following the game.

Here's what some fans have been saying on social media following the game.
