Full disclosure: When New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard was supposed to appear in Season 7 of Game of Thrones — a cameo that gave the hurler a second or two of screen time — I would go to Twitter after every episode to check if I had missed him.
I did the same thing with Joey Bosa. Back on April 1, there was an Ian Rapoport report that said the Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher would appear in Season 8, so I searched high and low in the first three episodes and look on Twitter last week to see if I’d seen the GoT diehard anywhere.
So imagine the surprise when I found out the Bosa cameo on Game of Thrones may have already happened during the Battle of Winterfell.
Late last week, Bosa thought he found himself in the third episode and posted a screengrab on Instagram:
It’s a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, but still — Joey Bosa appeared in Game of Thrones and no one can take that away from him.
