'It looks like a bottle of Irn Bru!' Cardiff City fans split on new away kit

Cardiff City's new orange away kit has finally been confirmed - and it's causing quite a stir.

The club's bold orange and blue design was officially unveiled by the club on Tuesday morning and is available to pre-order from the Cardiff City store ahead of its release on July 16.

It comes after the new design was leaked on social media earlier this week, with pictures of Joe Ralls wearing the new shirt posted on Instagram by a fan account.

And, after it was officially confirmed as one of the shirts Neil Warnock's side will be wearing next season, fans were quick to share their opinions, with many taking to social media to air their views.

A number of fans were quick to notice that the eye-catching colour scheme was very similar to the packaging of a popular Scottish soft drink.

Others were far more critical, with one fan labelling the design as a "very weird combo", while another remarked "We all work for B&Q".

However, a sizeable chunk of Cardiff fans are seemingly big fans of the new design, with one supporter even declaring: "I'm wearing this everywhere. Bed, pub, wedding, funeral, work, bath the lot."

Another said: "I've told anyone that would listen that I loved the orange shirt we had during the 2003/04 season. Strong memories of that with this shirt so I'll be absolutely buying."
