'It is good to be nominated' Kilmarnock gaffer Steve Clarke reacts to Manager of the Year shortlist

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke has been nominated for the Manager of the Year.

It's the second year in a row that he is up for the gong, and the winner will be announced on Sunday.

He is in the running alongside Ross County pair Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson, who helped the Staggies to the Championship title, Dick Campbell of League One champions Arbroath and Jim Goodwin of Alloa.

The Killie gaffer said: "It's good to be nominated, it just means the team are doing well.

Kilmarnock defender Stuart Findlay admits he was 'honoured' to receive POTY award

"I was nominated last year as well, so it shows that the teams have been great in my time here.

"I have always said when the team is good, everyone reaps the rewards."

He added: "I have always spoke highly of the group of players I found when I got here.

"I supplemented that with a few loans and it's helped us out, it worked out really well for us."
