It is Anupama's show after all, so Mukku can't always be around: Aneri Vajani on why she is missing from Anupama

A few weeks ago, Malvika aka Aneri Vajani's character was at the helm of affairs in the TV show Anupama, when the track focussed on the big fight between Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). However, now the makers have put her character on a break.

Ask Aneri about this and she says, "The character started as a cameo and we received good feedback. But, with time passing, maybe, viewers were not able to digest the fact that Malvika could fall in love with Sudhanshu's character. The script was written in such a way that as time goes, Mukku falls in love with Vanraj and there are more twists and turns. My character was also such that she was moody and did things spontaneously. So initially, people liked her, therefore I don't have anything to complain about. I had two very interesting scenes in the show, the first one revolved around her past and the second one during the Christmas party."

Aneri adds, "People forget that at the end of the day, it is Anupama's show, so Mukku can't always be around. My character was always a cameo, so I am happy with whatever I was dished out. Besides, I have hardly done shows where I have had a cameo. I would always want to play the lead in a new TV show. As of now in Anupama, my character is on a break."

Meanwhile, Aneri is doing stuff that she likes doing. She says, "I am spending time with family and focussing on small-time projects. I would also want to travel soon and enjoy myself."
