'It has to be' - Cardiff City boss perplexed by key decision in Nottingham Forest defeat

Cardiff City boss Neil Harris feels his side were hard done by on Tuesday night.

The Bluebirds lost narrowly to Nottingham Forest after Tiago Silva found what would turn out to be the winner four minutes after half-time.

Cardiff were unhappy going into the break after being denied what looked to be a certain penalty when Matty Cash brought down Josh Murphy in the box.

That was a decision that would have changed the game, according to Bluebirds boss Harris, who voiced his frustration at full-time.

"Real time, yes  (it was a penalty), and now I have seen it from our angle and Sky's angle, it is a penalty.

"The player makes a challenge from the wrong side of Murphs (Josh Murphy), doesn't get the ball, so it has to be a foul.

"I don't know why the referee hasn't given it, but anywhere else on the pitch, it would have been an easy decision and he would have had to have given it.

"Being a penalty, he decides not to. Key moment in the game? Yeah, right on the stroke of half-time, it's a key moment.

"A lot of big moments in the last two games have gone against us, unfortunately."
