IT firms BCN Group and Blue Logic complete merger

IT firm BCN Group has revealed plans to grow revenues to £50m in the next three years as it completes its merger with Blue Logic.

Leeds-based Blue Logic was acquired by BCN in May and following a transitional period it will now formally become the BCN Group.

The enlarged group will continue to deliver IT services to the North with the merger helping to improve the products and services offered to clients.

This includes cutting-edge technologies, cloud solutions and IT security and a brand-new website.

The BCN Group will now service more than 1100 clients across the North from its headquarters in Manchester and offices in Leeds, and Burnley.

Bosses said they expect to grow turnover to £24m this year with plans to grow this to £50m within the next three years.

Expansion will be achieved through an ongoing hunt for effective business acquisitions as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.

Simon Kelf, co-founder of the BCN Group, said: “The acquisition will give us greater presence across the North, enabling us to expand our offering and services to clients.

“We believe that both BCN and Blue Logic customers will enjoy access to a wider set of products and services as the expertise of each business unit becomes available to the other.”

BCN Group was founded in 2009 by Simon Kelf and Matt Smith.
