It didn’t take Jalen Hurts long to wow Oklahoma fans in his debut

Jalen Hurts made his Oklahoma debut Sunday night and it looks like the former Alabama QB is going to really enjoy playing for the Sooners.

Especially when he gets into Big 12 conference play, because yeah, there isn’t much defense played in the Big 12.

Hurts, who won two national championships while at Alabama, got off to a fast start Sunday night against Houston. At halftime Hurts had 174 yards passing with two TDs and 128 yards rushing and a touchdown on 11 rushes.

He finished with 332 yards passing with 3 TDs and 176 yards rushing with another 3 TDs.

Not too shabby.

Let’s take a look at how it all started. He kicked things off with a quick TD on the first drive of the game:

After a QB sneak for a TD made it 14-0, he had this TD pass to a wide open Ceedee Lamb, thanks to some lousy defense:

But yeah, it looks like Hurts is going to have some fun in Oklahoma.
