The final trailer for It Chapter 2 has been released, teasing out the chilling events that will unfold when the movie debuts in less than two months.
James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, Isaiah Mustafa, Andy Bean and James Ransone are seen returning to the town of Derry, Maine, as the Losers Club reconvenes.
The sequel, which is based on Stephen King's novel It, takes place 27 years after the events depicted in the first instalment released in 2017.
Having confronted Pennywise the Dancing Clown (played by Bill Skarsgård) as children, all five members of the Losers Club are now attempting to put an end to his evil deeds for good.
The newly released trailer includes an especially chill-inducing sequence in which James McAvoy is trapped in a house of mirrors, trying to rescue a young boy while Pennywise threatens to attack.
In addition to the adult cast, Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Wyatt Oleff will reprise their respective roles as as Bill Denbrough, Beverly Marsh, Ben Hanscom, Richie Tozier, Mike Hanlon, Eddie Kaspbrak and Stan Uris.
It Chapter 2, directed by Andy Muschietti, will be released on 6 September, 2019 in the US and in the UK.
