Israeli Civilians Urged To Stay In Shelters Amid Ongoing Threats

Israel supporters protest about the conflict between Israel and Hamas, in Bogota

Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for Israel Defense Forces, issued a video statement on Saturday night reiterating instructions to Israeli civilians on staying in sheltered places amidst ongoing threats.

Hagari emphasized the importance of following safety protocols, stating, 'I remind you that no matter where the threat is launched from, when an alarm sounds you must enter the shelter and wait there for no less than ten minutes.'

He assured the public that the Aerial Defense Array is fully operational and actively intercepting threats as needed. Hagari mentioned the presence of numerous Israeli Air Force planes in the air, prepared to respond to any potential threats.

Warning of possible explosions from interceptions or falling debris, Hagari advised civilians to remain vigilant. He acknowledged that alerts may cover wide areas due to the variety of threats faced.

Encouraging responsible and calm behavior, Hagari commended the public for adhering to instructions thus far. He expressed confidence in Israel's strength and capability to manage the situation effectively.

Concluding his statement, Hagari promised to provide further updates shortly, ensuring ongoing communication with the public regarding the evolving situation.
