Israel On High Alert For Potential Iranian Aggression

Israeli soldiers take position, as tension mounts between the Lebanon and Israel, in northern Israel

Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari has issued a statement declaring that Israel is on high alert for potential Iranian aggression. Hagari emphasized that Iran is known for funding, training, and arming terror proxies across the Middle East and beyond, labeling it as the world's biggest state sponsor of terror.

Hagari warned that Iran will face consequences if it chooses to escalate the situation further. Israel has heightened its readiness against any potential Iranian aggression and is prepared to respond accordingly.

In a recent incident, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy conducted a helicopter operation near the Strait of Hormuz, seizing a cargo ship. The ship reportedly belongs to a European Union member, prompting Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel Katz to call on the EU and the international community to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guards corps as a terrorist organization and impose sanctions on Iran.

Iran has threatened retaliation against Israel following a deadly strike on its consulate in Syria. The United States has raised concerns that Iran may launch strikes on multiple targets within Israel, potentially involving Iranian proxies in a significant escalation of tensions.
