Israel launches largest attack in decades in Syria

Israel has launched extensive attacks against Iranian targets in Syria, accusing Iran of launching rockets towards the occupied Golan Heights.

Iran has denied that it was behind the rocket attacks and a senior politician has told Al Jazeera that Israel is fabricating the nature of Iran's involvement in Syria.
