'Isn't that Craiglockhart?' - Justin Bieber's weird house compared to Edinburgh Napier University

A-list singer Justin Bieber is currently renting a house that looks a lot like Napier University, online jokers have claimed.

A photo of the circular glass house - which Bieber is renting for an eye-watering £60k a month - has been circulating online, with people queueing up to make jokes about its unusual design.

One writer announced that the $8.5 million gaff in Beverly Hills - known as the Glass House - is the spitting image of Craiglockhart, the futuristic looking campus of Napier University.

Bieber and wife Hailey have been living in the swish pad in Los Angeles since tying the knot back in September 2018.

Designed in 2009 by lauded architect Ed Niles, the home was purchased by a developer in February for $10.5 million.

The house is advertised for rent for $4000 a night (https://international-estate-rentals.myshopify.com/products/glass-house?variant=28977281415)

It boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a sunken family room, a home theatre, library and wine cellar, as well as a zero-edge swimming pool, a cabana with a fireplace and a fire pit surrounded by olive trees.

However, when seen from above or from outside, the modern home has quite a strong 'former polytechnic' energy.

Lots of people weighed in on Twitter to mock it. One person said: "Justin Bieber’s house looks like a New Labour-era college campus built on PFI money."

Another joker said: "Everyone’s saying Justin Bieber’s house (first picture) looks like the Avengers HQ, but am I the only one thinking it looks like the BBC Television Centre?"

Other people drew different comparisons, with one man saying: "Why does Justin Bieber's new house look like a food processor?"

Some thought it looked like something out of a video game, too: "Why did Justin Bieber live in the research center of a SimCity expansion pack?"

What do you think about the Beverly Hills Glass House? Should people who live in dank Edinburgh tenements really throw stones, or is it really ugly? Let us know in the comments!
