Ismaila Soro to Celtic transfer latest as target set to play final match for Bnei Yehuda

Celtic target Ismaila Soro is expected to play his final game for Bnei Yehuda this evening, as they look to reach the semi-finals of the Israeli State Cup.

The Hoops completed their first signing of the January window yesterday when Polish striker Patryk Klimala joined on a four-and-a-half year deal.

And Neil Lennon 's squad is set to be further reinforced as Soro prepares to join in a £2m deal.

Before he can sign for Celtic though the Ivorian is expected to play one final game against Hapoel Afula today as Bnei Yehuda aim to reach the last four.

Bnei Yehuda have lost five out of their last six games and are desperate to get back on track with a cup run and know that Soro is an integral part of their team.

Manager Elisha Levy stated: "We intend to play our strongest possible team. We know how important this competition is and I've had a chat with the players about our recent run of form.

"The hope is a win here will help our confidence for the league campaign too."
